Course Assessment

Placement Test and Pre-tests

All students take a placement test on their first visit to NHC Centres. The exact level of each student can then be determined and the student is placed in a class which is best suited to his/her ability.

Students who wish to enrol in Examination Practice Courses are required to take an English language pre-course test to ascertain their level of English prior to registration.

Progressive Tests

To enable us to monitor the progress of each student progress tests are conducted at regular intervals. Through these computer- or paper-based tests students' progress is continually assessed. By constructively highlighting mistakes, NHC encourages learners to correct themselves and use the language actively and uninhibitedly.

.All language teachers at NHC School of Languages- Egypt have a native-speaking level of English and are specifically trained and qualified in the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language.

Class Sizes

Our College offers small, friendly and informal classroom environments, best suited to maximising each student’s potential.

Class sizes during the low season range between 8 and 14 students.

Class sizes during the high season range between 16 and 20 students.
